Andre Avelino
Andre Avelino is a world class jazz guitarist and founding member of Calle Loiza Jazz Project (CLJP). He is a seasoned vet having played around the globe from Africa and Europe to the US and Latin America with a passion for the music and cultures of the African diaspora.
Mark Monts de Oca
Mark Monts de Oca is a Latin jazz pianist, producer and founding member of CLJP. Over the past 30 years he has played mostly in Puerto Rico and the US with many of the legends and creators of the Latin Jazz genre.

Dr. Gordon Vernick is a trumpet virtuoso in modern jazz and bebop and is in high demand in the Atlanta jazz scene. He is equally revered as a classical musician and college professor at Georgia State University.

Javier Oquendo
Javier Oquendo is one of a handful of premier percussionists not only in Puerto Rico but all over the world. CLJP could not have produced a recording of this quality and authenticity without him.
Xavier Barreto
Xavier Barreto is a world-class jazz and Latin Jazz flutist from the town of Isabela, Puerto Rico who has performed throughout the US and Europe since 2004. His performance and participation was essential in creating a rich, warm sound that gave CLJP a unique, unmistakable identity.

Ivan Belvis is one of the top producers and sound engineers in the music business in Puerto Rico who possesses a set of multiple skills that sets him apart from most other colleagues. He took our live recording and created something far beyond what we could’ve dreamed for.
Candido Reyes
Candido Reyes is known internationally as “El Rey Mundial del Guiro”. He has performed on more than 200 recordings and is known for his rhythmic artistry playing the guiro in Puerto Rico and throughout Latin America.
